On 22 May 2024, Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Building Control Service hosted a seminar on the recent changes across the building control industry.
The seminar was presented in the council chambers at the Municipal Offices by our principal building control surveyor, Daniel Greenhouse. The seminar informed stakeholders on some of the biggest changes to legislation that will affect how building work across the boroughs is carried out.
Recent changes included the introduction of the Building Safety Act and multiple changes to the Building Regulations. There was an opportunity for questions at the end of the presentation and for stakeholders to network with each other.
